Helvoet Rubber & Plastic Technologies (Helvoet), which has been involved in the pharma industry since the 1950s, is a leading global supplier of primary packaging systems with integrated sealing and dosing functions. Helvoet has competence centres and subsidiaries in the Netherlands, the US, Belgium and India. All medical products are manufactured in clean boxes and can, if required, be printed and irradiated afterwards.

European Pharmacopoeia and FDA-regulated primary packaging systems

Helvoet uses the European Pharmacopoeia and US FDA guidelines and regulations to optimise customer satisfaction. In addition, Helvoet continuously checks its primary packaging systems for functionality; this is done at validation and in process. Helvoet checks the products by using a 100% vision scan, plus the fact that all production processes are automatically controlled by the machine parameters themselves.

Our in-house technology results in speed, high volumes, quality and precision, which ensures that we have exceptional production facilities worldwide. Helvoet has a unique know-how regarding material blends and compounds.

The measurement department checks products chemically, on molecular physics and geometrically so that each product keeps its unique characteristics.

Moulds without imperfections produce perfect products; Helvoet therefore uses the most recent technologies in mould technology.

ISO-certified producer of primary packaging systems

When producing primary packages it is necessary to follow rules according to quality management systems. In the Netherlands Helvoet is ISO 9001:2000 certified and in Belgium it is ISO 14001 certified. Helvoet uses lean and sigma techniques.

Our pharma production facilities are situated in the Netherlands and Belgium, and we also have production facilities in India. All of our production facilities are ISO/TS 16949 certified and approved by the external bureau Veritas.

The products that are made by Helvoet are batch controlled and are highly traceable within the logistic chain.
