Axiomtek has introduced the eBOX511-820-FL fanless embedded box computer with an extremely small form factor of 132mm x 95.4mm x 47.5mm and a 10V to 30V wide-range DC power input for rugged and space-critical industrial applications. The eBOX511-820-FL is based on an ultra low-power Intel® Atom processor Z530 1.6GHz or Z510 1.1GHz with up to 2GB of DDR2 system memory. Powered by the Intel System Controller Hub US15W with integrated Intel GMA 500, the fanless embedded platform offers advanced graphics and 3D performance. Its power consumption is less than 10W in common use, making the eBOX511-820-FL an optimal solution for power-sensitive embedded applications. The power-optimised Atom-based embedded computer is ideal for DSA, car PC, medical healthcare, entry-level gaming, and in-flight infotainment.
"Measuring only 132mm x 95.4mm x 47.5mm in size, the eBOX511-820-FL is an incredibly small embedded system powered by an ultra low-power Intel Atom processor Z530/Z510 with the Intel SCH US15W. It can easily fit into any space-limited and harsh environments," said Eric Chiang, product manager of Axiomtek's Applied Computing and Network Device business unit. "Its friendly fanless design increases reliability, extends MTTR, and ultimately reduces maintenance efforts. To fulfil different application needs, the embedded box platform supports a 10V to 30V wide-range DC power input. Even more, it adopts Phoenix plug power connector."
Axiomtek's eBOX511-820-FL provides a full set of I/O features including one Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, two COM ports, VGA connector, audio connector, and PS/2 port. This durable yet low-power embedded computer also supports one CompactFlash card for expansion. Additionally, the eBOX511-820-FL supports various embedded operating systems, including Windows® CE, Windows XP Embedded (XPE), and Linux. For flexible installation, the super durable unit can be din-rail-mounted, wall-mounted, VESA-mounted or stand-mounted. Moreover, it has a built-in Watchdog Timer to reset the system after a crash or system error.
The RoHS-compliant product will be available around early August 2010. For more product specifications or ordering information, please contact Axiomtek or visit their website.
