MEDICAL IMAGING SOLUTIONS

CMO has a portfolio of products from 1.2 megapixels to 8.3 megapixels to meet the needs of a wide range of medical applications, including ultrasound, endoscopy, PACS, CT, CI, MRI, and the most challenging of all, mammography. In medical imaging the picture, clarity and quality are paramount. Key parameters of these are the depth of greyscale, picture uniformity, contrast ratio, brightness and viewing angle. WIDE VIEWING ANGLE THROUGH IN PLANE SWITCHING

The main LCD technology on which these LCD displays are based is dual-domain In Plane Switching (IPS) which has the benefit of providing consistent greyscale and luminance and thus colour uniformity over a wide viewing angle. Although other technologies are used in the medical industry, IPS remains the choice of the professional as the best match to the requirements of the most demanding radiology applications.

FIVE MEGAPIXEL HIGH RESOLUTION PANEL FOR DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY

The state of the art IAQS80, five megapixel monochrome panel displays high contrast pictures of unmatched accuracy and is ideally suited for the most critical of radiography applications, namely mammography.

THREE MEGAPIXEL HIGH BRIGHTNESS PANEL

The ITQX20 and ITQX21 are long-standing products of the IDTech range, providing superb image quality, high brightness and black uniformity. The latest high bright three megapixel colour panel ITQX20P also enables the reproduction of high quality greyscale images thus combining the benefits of a colour screen and monochrome imaging for diagnostics, medical imagery, PACS, CT and MR.

ONE AND TWO MEGAPIXEL COLOUR AND MONOCHROME SCREENS

The one megapixel monochrome and colour panels were IDTech’s first medical panels and are being used in great numbers worldwide in modality applications.

The new two megapixel colour version IAUX 60 is ideal for high-end modality review and medical applications such as surgery, CT and MRI scans. The established monochrome panel, the IAUX61, also provides a low-cost alternative to traditional PACS solutions.

MVA AND NEW WIDE VIEWING FOILS

As MVA technology has improved dramatically over the years, it has at times become an alternative to IPS screens for certain medical applications. For instance our new high-brightness 19in LCD R190E2-L01 panel with MVA and extra wide viewing foil technology is ideal for modality and pre-diagnostic solutions. Whereas, the new 30in wide, four megapixel high resolution panel is gaining ground in the medical market as it allows multiple colour and greyscale images to be displayed simultaneously with minimum scaling.
