MEDICAL-PRODUCT LCDS

CUSTOMISABLE TFT-LCDS

Varitronix manufactures one of the most diverse ranges of semi-custom, mid-size, colour TFT displays. The displays, available in sizes from 2in to 15in, offer resolutions up to 1024px x 768px, contrast ratios in excess of 800:1, and viewing angles up to 178° x 178°. They also feature fast response-times and high brightness, imperative for medical applications where status indicators and measurements need to be 100% clear and accurate every time.

Modules are available with most of our range of Super Twisted Nematic (STN) display technologies.

BI-STABLE CHOLESTERIC DISPLAYS (BCD)

Bi-stable cholesteric technology uses only the smallest amount of power to drive the display. No backlight is needed and power is only necessary when the information is refreshed. This makes it perfect for applications such as signage in hospitals or indicators where updating is less frequent. As well as comsuming very little power, BCD contrast also improves in light and is available in many colour combinations. Other features include:
