eagleyard Photonics - High Power Laser DiodesSince its foundation in 2002, eagleyard Photonics has been developing and manufacturing high power laser diodes - key components for next-generation laser systems. These high power laser diodes are being produced in close cooperation with the renowned Ferdinand-Braun-Institut für Hoechstfrequenztechnik and represent the results of top research performances turned into reliable products. The highly innovative and rapidly growing company has become a leading provider of high power laser diodes with wavelengths ranging from 650nm to 1,180nm. Customers worldwide integrate laser diodes 'made by eagleyard' into their systems. These laser diodes address a variety of application arenas such as medical instrumentation, test and measurement, display technology and material analysis. CDL-LASER FAMILY FOR DENTAL APPLICATIONSThe CDL-laser family for dental applications provides the highest output power combined with a cost effective package concept. The single emitter CDL-laser diodes (Collimating-Double-Lens), available at wavelengths of 808nm, 940nm, 980nm and 1,064nm address the requirements of manufacturers of medical instruments to achieve their design targets. Product features include:
These features have led major manufacturers of dental instruments to choose eagleyard as supplier for their new product generation. PLUG-AND-PLAY EVALUATION CAPABILITIESIn order to allow the design engineer a prompt and effective evaluation of the laser component itself, an easy-to-use application tool has been developed to demonstrate the superior efficiency of the fibre coupling which is as good as 80%. Besides a carrier for the laser diode itself, it contains a three-axis lens alignment system, a fibre holder and a display for monitoring the laser temperature. DFB-LASER FOR OXYGEN DETECTIONDistributed Feedback (DFB) lasers are Fabry Perot single-mode lasers containing an integrated grating structure. The result is a single-mode emission at an outmost precise wavelength with an extremely narrow linewidth. eagleyard’s new DFB lasers track down oxygen by the characteristic 'fingerprint' of the O2 absorption spectrum. Present or absent, these laser diodes provide a reliable O2 reading. eagleyard expands its product portfolio by 760nm and 763nm Distributed Feedback (DFB) lasers in butterfly package. These new lasers with extremely narrow line-width are able to sense even residual amounts of oxygen. The mode-hop free emission guarantees a very precise gas analysis by means of absorption spectroscopy. The high output-power of the lasers allows fast and reliable remote sensing even under difficult conditions. DISTRIBUTED BRAGG REFLECTOR (DBR) LASERS Our Distributed Bragg Reflector (DBR) lasers have in-built resistors to allow for mode-hop free tunability. These products are for sophisticated applications in medical industry and science, such as analytics, Raman spectroscopy, gas analysis, and exciting certain atom resonances. eagleyard provides the largest variety of wavelengths available on the market. Our portfolio of DFB and DBR lasers covers interesting wavelengths for these applications, e.g. oxygen detection at 760nm. Find your suitable product between 760nm and 1,083nm with output powers from 50mW to 150mW with or without fibre pigtail attached. LASER PRODUCT PORTFOLIOeagleyard's laser product portfolio includes ridge waveguide lasers, broad area lasers, tapered lasers, tapered amplifiers, DFB and DBR lasers characterised by excellent beam quality, high optical output power and reliability. ISO 9001 COMPLIANCE The certified development, production and marketing processes are subject to rigorous quality standards required by ISO 9001.
