ULTRA® 2400 WORKSTATION - AIR-POWERED DISPENSING SYSTEM

EFD's Ultra 2400 workstation is a precision air-powered dispensing system that applies accurate, consistent amounts of adhesives, lubricants, silicones, epoxies and other fluids used in medical device assembly processes - from neat, controlled beads to uniform dots as small as 0.004in in diameter. Options include a flexible task light, a 1.7X magnifier for precision close-up work, a flexible syringe barrel holder that acts as a convenient third hand, an ergonomic barrel grip with touch-sensor finger switch and an LED spotlight.

EFD's Ultra precision dispensing tips and syringe barrels for medical dispensing applications bring exceptional quality and consistency to medical processes ranging from flushing catheters with saline before use to dispensing viscoelastic materials and monomers in ophthalmic applications.

754V-SS ASEPTIC DIAPHRAGM VALVE

The 754V-SS aseptic diaphragm valve accurately controls the application of most low to medium viscosity fluids used in medical and bio-medical dispensing applications. Typical applications include dispensing saline solutions to fill contact lens packages, filling lens moulds with monomers and vial filling.

The 754V-SS is machined from 316 stainless steel and features an easy-to-clean design that is suitable for Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Sterilize-In-Place (SIP) processes. Potential benefits include elimination of rejects, less maintenance downtime, and faster production speeds. Shot sizes range from 0.5µL to a continuous flow rate of 60µL /sec.

781S-SS SPRAY SYSTEM

The 781S-SS spray system provides neat, precise application of silicone oils, reagents and other coatings used in medical device assembly. The system’s spray valve features stainless steel components and uses Low Volume Low Pressure (LVLP) air to apply lubricants evenly, without overspray or dripping. Coatings can be applied either steadily or at timed intervals to match specific production requirements.

INTEGRATED DISPENSE AND POSITIONING SYSTEM

Ultra TT Automation Series is an easy-to-use, easy-to-program integrated dispense and positioning system for applying adhesives, solvents, UV-cure and many other medical assembly fluids. It’s the only XYZ dispense system that can be programmed with a Palm™ handheld. Intuitive Graphic User Interface (GUI) software provides exceptional control of positioning and dispensing parameters, and makes setup much faster than standard XYZ systems that use teaching pendants with menu-driven software. This system is available with either 325mm x 325mm or 525mm x 525mm work envelopes and is fully compatible with EFD's wide range of precision fluid dispense valves and syringe reservoirs.
