AVICENNA EXPANDS SCOPE WHILE RE-CERTIFYING TO ISO 9001:2000

Avicenna Technology Inc., a provider of precision machining and assembly services to manufacturers of life enhancing medical devices, announces its successful re-certification to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

Avicenna added 'polymer bonding, micro-welding, and contract assembly' to its scope of supply during its recent registration audit. These additions serve to further establish Avicenna as a full service turnkey provider of precision components and assemblies.

Avicenna’s ISO certified scope of supply now reads:
Precision laser ablating, marking, drilling, skiving and etching of tube, wire and coated substrates; mechanical forming and cutting of tube and wire; polymer bonding, microwelding, and contract assembly.

Avicenna’s new certificate was issued by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. on February 18, 2007 and will expire on February 17, 2010
