SQL series SQUIGGLE micro motors for small size and high forceThe tiny SQL series SQUIGGLE motor offers greater power efficiency, higher reliability, and ten times better precision than electromagnetic micro motors. It is less than half the size of other piezo motors or other miniature motors making it ideal for applications such as endoscopes, minimally invasive surgical systems and micro pumps. The patented SQUIGGLE micro motor design is simple and elegant with few assembly parts and is inherently non-magnetic, making it an ideal solution for implantable devices. This robust design withstands high shock and offers millimeters of stroke, high forces and the reliability of piezo motor technology to deliver duty cycles in the millions. Our ASIC drivers are easy to integrate into battery-operated and inductive-charging points-of-care devices. Magnetic position - sensor arraysThe TRACKER™ position sensor is a magnetic sensor array with integrated on-chip digital encoding. With its small size, 2µm resolution and low sensitivity to external magnetic fields, TRACKER sensors are an effective alternative to miniature optical encoders. TRACKER can provide precision positioning and metering control in applications such as medical robotics and microfluidics / nanofluidics for drug delivery and lab-on-a-chip applications. Highest-resolution magnetic encoderThe highest-resolution magnetic encoder available, the tracker position sensor is insensitive to light, shock, vibration, and high-particulate environments. It can be used as a linear encoder or off-axis rotary encoder. On-chip encoding provides direct digital output using standard I2C protocol, eliminating the need for external pulse counters. A microprocessor can query multiple TRACKER position sensors and read position information directly. Coupling these sensors with the SQUIGGLE micro motor creates a powerful and precise miniature control system that can be designed for your specific needs.
