Gardner Denver Thomas has extended its product line of linear compressors with the high-performing LW range. These products offer up to 245l/min at a working point of 200mbar or 2m water column.
Both new diaphragm compressors of the model series LW contain two linear drive units, each with four pump heads. This method of construction reduces the load on each head and ensures trouble-free operation.
These linear diaphragm pumps have very low noise and vibration levels and offer excellent efficiency and extremely long life. On average the first service is not necessary before 18,000 hours or 36 months of operating. A detailed service manual supplied with each pump makes it easier to accomplish the required maintenance. With a power consumption of less than 1W per air litre at the operating point these pumps are economic to operate and contribute to significant lower running costs. As an example the LW 200 has a power consumption of only 190W while delivering 200l/min against a 2m water column.
