Chemogas - Filling and Blending of Chemical Gases

CHEMICAL GAS PACKAGING

Chemogas recognises the requirement of special transportation packaging for chemical gases, and provides bespoke packaging solutions to meet this industry need. Depending on the type of the ordered products, we use high or low pressure packaging, in different construction materials, including:

• Carbon steel
• Stainless steel
• Aluminium

To maximize the safety during transport within Europe, our logistics department have developed a safety drum pallet for the bigger types of packaging. This pallet can be easily picked up by a forklift, and it keeps the two valves of the attached container in a stable and vertical position during transport to the factory, whilst using the gas onsite, and later on the way back to Chemogas.

A team of Chemogas experts ensures that only the best and most adequate materials will be put into service, to attain the best possible quality under safe and efficient conditions

CHEMICAL CYLINDER VALVES

Chemogas uses the well established German Standard DIN 477 for the valves to equip the cylinders and drums with. The DIN 477 standard is accepted worldwide and although some countries have different standards, this should not be of any hindrance as adapters can be provided

GAS SCRUBBING TECHNOLOGY

Although the scrubbers can be adapted to handle different products, the main use - in line with the supply of ethylene oxide by Chemogas - is the emission control of the rest gases of ethylene oxide once the sterilisation cycle has been performed.

We provide the scrubbing of a broad range of different chemical gasses, such as ammonia NH3 or hydrogen chloride HCl or methylamines (mono-, di-, tri-).

CHEMICAL WASTE TREATMENT

Chemogas is an officially registered waste treatment centre and waste collector. We have the capacity to conduct reliable analysis of waste gases in problem recipients, as well as scrubbing, support in incineration, evacuation and destruction of problem cylinders on demand.

We also provide collection of waste at the customer's site with assistance in dealing with 'cross-border' administration and requirements. Chemogas can also assist customers with the administration procedure for exporting waste to our Belgian site.

STERILISATION CHAMBERS

Cold sterilisation with pure ethylene oxide (or in mixture with carbon dioxide or nitrogen) is being performed under well defined conditions in a specially constructed room/chamber.
