Lawrence Knuckey, Chairman, IEC sub-committee 62A

Lawrence Knuckey is a professional engineer with more than 40 years' experience in biomedical engineering. He convened a working group to revise a 1974 IEC report on fundamental aspects of safety standards for medical electrical equipment, and in 1993 was appointed chairman of IEC sub-committee 62A, responsible for the parent IEC standard for medical electrical equipment and a number of associated publications.
