Dr Subha Kumpaty, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Milwaukee School of Engineering
Dr Subha Kumpaty is an associate professor of mechanical engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering and the director of its Master of Science in Engineering programme.
He is the principal investigator of National Science Foundation-sponsored Research Experiences for Undergraduates grants and has also served as co-principal investigator for NSF's Aid to the Disabled grant. He has been active in research involving undergraduates during the past 15 years, especially in custom manufacturing of devices to help people with disabilities.
Efficient and simple technology can improve patient comfort and care, with hospital beds being no exception.
