Robert Hughes, Senior Architect, Intel Corporations Digital Health Group
Robert Hughes is a senior wireless standards architect in Intel Corporation’s Digital Health Group. Starting in 2005, he led the formation of the Medical Devices Working Group within the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, where he is serving his third term as the Working Group chair. The group is responsible for defining and developing Bluetooth’s first-ever profile specifically for the medical, healthcare and fitness device industries.
With the imminent rollout of new Bluetooth standards, manufacturers are finding ways to make their offerings compliant.
