Leakage Current Differences

The 3rd Edition has been several years in the making. In December of 2005, IEC60601-1 was approved. EN60601-1 was set for publication in July of 2007. The date of withdrawal for EN60601-1 2nd Edition has currently been set for 2009, if no particular standard exists. As of June 2007, IEC and FDA have not set a date of withdrawal for the 2nd Edition.
