Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) Imaging to Play a Key Role in Increasing Clinical Success of Interventional Cardiology

27 January 2010

Intravascular ultrasound imaging provides images from the inside to the outside of the arterial wall. Its benefits include the early detection of coronary artery disease, and its results have been seen to be more efficient than the widely used technique of angiography, which only visualises only the lumen of the arterial wall. Coronary artery disease is primarily attributed to the arterial wall.

This special report by GlobalData looks at this new technology, and its market predictions for the years ahead, providing data for buyers and producers interested in the market.
