US-based medical devices manufacturer Medtronic Plc has acquired Irish medical diagnostics firm Crospon Ltd for €38m ($44.72m).

Upon completion of acquisition, Crospon will be integrated into the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and informatics unit of Medtronic.

The acquisition will expand Medtronic’s product range.

US-based applied solutions provider IDEX Corporation has acquired German microfluidic appliances developer thinXXS Microtechnology.

The target company will be integrated into IDEX’s Health and Science Technologies (HST) division.

The acquisition will strengthen IDEX’s market reach and expand its product portfolio.

Spine technology company NuVasive Inc has agreed to acquire intra-operative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) services provider SafePassage.

The acquisition will enable NuVasive to expand its IONM services.
