STERIS Isomedix Services is hosting a TechTeam seminar from 27-28 October at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim, California.
The seminar will cover topics critical to success in medical device sterilisation.
In this two day event, industry experts will help attendees gain an in-depth understanding of the relationship between sterilisation and medical device design, validation, manufacturing and packaging.
Seminar topics will include:
- Evolution of sterilisation processes and validation
- Sterilisation microbiology
- Ethylene oxide sterilisation review
- Sterilisation by ionising radiation
- Dose setting and maintaining a sterile claim
- Materials compatibility and selection
- Choosing materials for a sterile barrier system
- Cleaning programmes for device cleanrooms
The dessert reception will take place on 27 October at Disney California Adventure Park. The private reception provides guests with the opportunity to speak with a panel of experts and enjoy the atmosphere of the park.
An ethylene oxide facility tour will take place in Temecula, California on 28 October from 1:30pm – 3:00pm. Tour one of the local facilities to learn what happens to products during the ethylene oxide sterilisation process.
Shuttle transportation will be provided for those who are not driving.
The seminar fee is $425 per person if registered by 1 September or $450 per person if registered between 2 September – 20 October.
