Germany’s medical industry registered a 1.9% drop in IT hiring activity in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 7.25% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.
Out of the medical industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.39% share in August 2021, recording an increase of 1.1% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Germany’s medical industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 102.48% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry in August 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 65.96% in August 2021, registering a 15.45% decline over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 12.77% share, an increase of 16.13% over the previous month.
3) Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 10.64%, registering a 275% rise from July 2021.
4) Database and Network Administrators and Architects captured a share of 7.8%, up 10% over the previous month.
Top five medical companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in August 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 28.67% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s medical industry during August 2021 over July 2021.
medi GmbHKG posted 79 IT jobs in August 2021 and registered a rise of 132.35% over the previous month, followed by Carl Zeiss with 69 jobs and a 30.19% growth. Sartorius with 18 IT jobs and Sarstedt AGKG with 14 jobs, recorded a 58.14% decline and a 133.33% flat growth, respectively, while Arjo recorded a decline of 7.14% with 13 job postings during August 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 74.11%, down by 4.57% from July 2021. Mid Level positions with an 18.44% share, registered a decline of 13.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 7.45% share, down 30% over July 2021.
