Between 10 April to 17 April, 11,708 medtech jobs were posted worldwide by 349 companies, according to the GlobalData jobs analytics tool.
This represented a small decrease of 11% in listings compared to the 13,202 jobs posted in the previous period.

The majority of listings came from Cepheid UK, which listed 843 roles, followed by Sonova Holding seeking 479 new employees and Biotronik with 383 roles advertised.
Scottish medtech company set to double workforce
Scottish medtech company Current Health is set to more than double its current headcount after closing a successful £31m funding round to further ramp up sales of its remote healthcare delivery platform.
The funds will help the company create 100 new jobs by the end of this year, half of which are set to be based at the company’s Edinburgh headquarters and the remainder in its main market, the US.
Current Health manufactures a remote monitoring device that is worn on the arm and collects the user’s vital signs. The device was designed to provide a ‘mission control’ for healthcare delivery outside of the hospital.
