Lubricating coatings reduce the sticking and friction of medical devices and parts that slide, shear, twist, rock or pivot. They resolve the “stiction” problems commonly found in surface-to-surface assemblies. Furthermore, they can reduce the coefficient of friction to as low as 0.06, making the devices faster to manufacture and easier to use.
