Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas has launched the new wireless handheld ultrasound device, PocketPro H², for general point-of-care imaging applications.

Healcerion will distribute this ultrasound device in the US.

It is intended for vascular access, needle guidance, musculoskeletal (MSK) and pain management applications.

PocketPro H² is a suitable device to quickly evaluate soft tissue, including inflammation, tears and instability in the cartilage, tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints. Its user-friendly interface facilitates one-hand operation.

Designed to provide 90 minutes of continuous scanning, the device features colour and pulsed-wave doppler, M-Mode functions, customised imaging presets and a 6MHz-12MHz range.

The device can share ultrasound images throughout the care team, which enables improved patient diagnosis and intervention coordination or treatment.
