Royal Philips has expanded its teleradiology services portfolio to increase access to precision diagnoses and address a rising shortage of radiologists.

Including Cloud-based picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) software and Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) solutions, the new telehealth platforms are used for advanced analytics, visualisation and workflow applications.

The services enhance teleradiology viewing, reporting, on-call radiologist services and exam workflow.

Teleradiology enables radiologists to remotely store, retrieve, view and analyse images from medical exams such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance (MR) and X-ray.
