By Chloe Kent

Intelligent language company SDL is making its SDL Machine Translation software available to all organisations, researchers and professionals engaged in any aspect of Covid-19 research, discovery and development.

The software will allow scientists and healthcare professionals to instantaneously translate the latest clinical research from around the world, enabling effective global collaboration in tackling the virus.

SDL Machine Translation is capable of understanding life sciences terminology and instantly translates any document or text, works with audio and video files, protects confidential materials and integrates into internal workflows. It is able to instantly identify languages using SDL’s Linguistic AI.
