The platform is expected to double the company’s Reverse Transcription – Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) testing capability, with around 2,500 tests daily. It features a Roche cobas 6800 molecular testing unit that uses PCR technology in an automated scenario to offer accurate results in less time.
