Toshiba America Medical Systems’ M-Power interface has received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance.
M-Power, a customisable MR system user interface, enables technologists to accelerate scanning processes.
M-Power will be available for use on Toshiba’s Vantage Atlas, Vantage Titan 1.5 and Titan 3T MR systems.
Toshiba MR business unit director Stuart Clarkson said that M-Power "makes Toshiba’s suite of MR software easy to learn and use, allowing technologists of every skill level to access the system’s full range of functionality".
"MR technologists are now able to design their own protocols and easily access mTools for greater convenience and productivity," Clarkson added.
M-Power reduces the number of steps required to start a procedure, improving department efficiency.
