The Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) will receive donated medical devices as part of its ‘Save Syrian Lives’ campaign in Syria.
The campaign aims to support humanitarian efforts and provide medical treatment to injured civilians in the country.
Crimson Life Sciences, a division of TransPerfect Translations International, has published a list of medical devices and equipment required by SAMS.
Field hospitals have been established in Turkey and Jordan, but medical devices and materials are in short supply, according to SAMS.
Crimson Life Sciences president Marc Miller said: "Several months ago, Crimson provided pro bono translations for devices meant to safeguard individuals against chemical weapons."
In addition to SAMS, Crimson is working with a medical device manufacturer, MassMEDIC, which provided support and visibility for the worthwhile cause at the association’s recent annual conference in Boston.
