Finished medical devices company Freudenberg Medical has added two new haemostasis valves, HyperSeal and CertuSeal, to its existing FlexSeal valve.

The haemostasis valves are designed to reduce blood loss and enable minimally invasive medical procedures that involve the use of catheters.

Through the new valves, the firm intends to offer new design options and minimise development time and costs by facilitating direct integration into therapeutic catheter development.

The valves are expected to cater to medical device firms seeking rapid time to market.

The firm has also released a new white label device solution, HyperSeal Introducer Sheath, which has a hydrophilic coating for large bore procedures.

Freudenberg Medical acts as a partner for the design, development and manufacture of medical devices, components and product solutions.

The firm operates 11 manufacturing facilities with more than 1,500 employees.

In addition to finished devices, Freudenberg provides subassemblies for minimally invasive, handheld and catheter-based devices, thermoplastic components and tubing to drug coatings.
