Medical technology company Sibel Health has secured $30m in an equity financing round to expedite the commercial deployment of its Anne One monitoring platform.
The financing round was spearheaded by the Steele Foundation for Hope and Dräger, the company’s current investors.

This latest development comes along with the company’s receipt of the seventh 510(k) clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which allows the platform to offer wireless monitoring for individuals aged 12 years and above.
The funding round is particularly significant as it coincides with the FDA clearance allowing for alerts and alarms, along with a central station.
Sibel Health co-founder and CTO Jong Yoon Lee said: “We are especially proud of the fact that our sensors are FDA-cleared under the IEEE SDC 11073 standard, which supports open and secure communication between medical devices replacing traditional proprietary networks. Interoperability is the future and our hospital partners are increasingly demanding it.”
The Anne One platform is a comprehensive solution that comprises wearable sensors, and AI-enabled data analytics, as well as an integrated mobile software and cloud platform.

By GlobalDataLast year, the Gates Foundation awarded Sibel Health a $17.5m grant. In addition, the company and Dräger Denmark secured a contract from the Capital Region of Denmark to supply continuous wireless monitoring in several hospitals in the Copenhagen area.
This month, the company announced that by purchasing its Anne One systems, Northwestern Medicine is set to assess enhancements in nursing workflow and sleep quality of the individuals, using Sibel Health’s wireless sensors.
Originating from Northwestern University, the company is headquartered in Chicago, US, and maintains an international presence with an office in South Korea.
Last year, the company announced its FDA 510(k) clearance for Anne One, enabling its use in continuous ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring, temperature, oxygen saturation (SpO₂), and non-invasive blood pressure measurements in both hospital and home settings.
