Fuse Oncology has entered a strategic collaboration with Associated Medical Professionals of New York (AMP) to initiate a proof of concept of its FuseRx clinical workflow platform.
Operating as an affiliate of US Urology Partners, a General Atlantic company, AMP will conduct the trial at its Center of Advanced Radiation Excellence in Syracuse, New York, US.

The FuseRx platform aims to consolidate clinical and administrative functions from consultation through to treatment, allowing physicians, physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, and nurses to operate from a single plan.
It functions alongside existing electronic medical records (EMR) and oncology information systems.
At AMP, the initial rollout focuses on physician consultation workflows, treatment intent, and integrated American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) clinical pathways, with additional operational roles set to be incorporated over the coming months.
Fuse and ACRO previously agreed to integrate ACRO’s clinical pathways into the software in March 2025.
The collaboration addresses operational fragmentation in prostate cancer management.
The initiative is directed by AMP radiation oncology research director and US Urology Partners Center of Advanced Radiation Excellence National director Dr Steven Finkelstein.
Dr Finkelstein said: “A urology practice sees prostate cancer from the first PSA to the last follow-up. When radiation is the right answer, the patient shouldn’t wait while paperwork moves between systems.
“We want to see whether one workflow, with ACRO’s pathways built in, gets our patients from consult to treatment faster and more consistently. Syracuse is where we find out.”
Fuse Oncology CEO James Bauler said: “Independent urology is where a lot of prostate cancer radiation happens, and it’s a setting built for speed—one team, one roof.
