Under the partnership with Synaptive Medical, Stryker will provide its BrightMatter Plan software designed to automatically produce whole-brain tractography.

These tracts can be easily reviewed by surgeons, who will be able to assess different surgical techniques to create the required pre-operative plans for individual cases.
Tractography helps the surgeons in verifying whether the data is consistent with the intended approach. It also allows determination of the need for detailed surgical planning.
As part of the alliance with Ziehm Imaging, Stryker will offer Ziehm Vision RFD 3D C-arm that uses flat panel technology to deliver quality images.
These images are said to feature the accuracy and efficiency required for orthopaedic, trauma or spinal procedures, with a minimised dose and in less time.

In April this year, Stryker unveiled a new surgical navigation platform called Target Guided Surgery (TGS) system for functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) procedures.
The TGS navigation system has augmented reality, advanced image guidance and visualisation capabilities. It can be used to examine patient anatomy, as well as enable the planning and execution of surgical approaches with intraoperative guidance.
