EB19-J10U features a combination of Hitachi ultrasound systems, PENTAX Medical video processors with high visualisation capabilities, and high-definition fully digital video and 100% colour-CCD-Chip in the tip technology.

The high imaging performance of the new device is expected to enable precise visualisation of the airway wall, surrounding lymph nodes and structures for accurate diagnosis of lung diseases.

Hitachi’s multi-layered Crystal Technology has been integrated with EB19-J10U’s ultrasound transducer to facilitate efficient transmission and reception of the ultrasound pulse for obtaining high-resolution images with improved tissue differentiation and minimal energy loss.

“The use of endoscopic ultrasound has proven to be a great asset in increasing the clinical acumen in endoscopy.”

In addition, the EUS includes a single use suction valve, cleaning brushes and new cleaning adapters to ensure safety and easy operation.
