Furthermore, the sterile-packaged system has been developed to improve intraoperative efficiency.

The device is developed to strengthen the capabilities of ASCs, allowing them to overcome sterilisation hurdles while providing optimal care.

Xenco Medical founder and CEO Jason Haider said: “As Covid-19 spurred increased demand for sterile-packaged, single-use spinal platforms and accelerated growth in the volume of outpatient cervical spine procedures, we have bolstered our commitment to expanding access to safer, streamlined surgical procedures through the launch of our single-use Multilevel CerviKit.”

The company stated that its spinal system is designed for logistical efficiency and surgical performance.

Easily transportable, the disposable spinal implant systems are optimally calibrated and sterile-packaged for individual use.

The single-use implant systems of the company are also compatible with its intelligent surgical vending machines and can be trained for use on a glasses-free holographic surgical simulation platform.
