MIRA Rehab is the company behind the video game technology, which has been designed to make therapy easier to follow and increase patient compliance. As the software can track performance, the tool is ideal for therapists, allowing them to personalise MIRA to fit their patients’ conditions.

My Diabetes My Way is an online self-management platform, which aims to give people with diabetes secure access to their own medical records and home-recorded data with tailored information, advice and multimedia education resource access. The product was developed with input from UK clinicians, technicians, data experts and patients. It has undergone extensive user testing and evaluation to demonstrate its clinical impact.

ABHI international managing director Paul Benton said: “There is no doubt a digital revolution is taking place in the UK. We have some of the world’s most innovative digital health technologies being developed and we are delighted to host many of them on our UK Pavilion at Arab Health.”

The global market for digital health is estimated to be worth £150bn by 2020. In the UK, digital health currently employs over 10,000 people and generates £1.2bn in turnover.

Other UK health tech companies confirmed to be attending Arab Health 2019 include Balsamee, Linnodee, Activ8rlives, BPS Assessment, Intelesens, VirtiMed and BPMpathway.
