This update aims to better address the needs of clinicians and patients managing urinary tract dysfunction.
The product range also features an extensive selection of stoma lengths, ranging from 0.8cm to 10.0cm. This allows healthcare professionals to more precisely match the device to individual anatomical and clinical requirements.
The MiniSPC Button is indicated for patients aged seven years and above who require long-term urinary drainage due to urinary tract dysfunction.
Its low-profile design enables the MiniSPC Button to sit closer to the body compared to traditional suprapubic catheters. It has detachable drainage sets that promote mobility and flexibility in daily activities.
The expansion is intended for use by interventional radiologists, home healthcare providers, urologists, nurses, continence care specialists, durable medical equipment caregivers and providers.
Applied Medical national sales manager Bill Bentley said: “The expansion of the MiniSPC Button portfolio reflects our continued focus on delivering meaningful innovation in urological care. By offering a broader range of sizes, we’re enabling clinicians to better customise care while supporting improved patient comfort and outcomes.”
The MiniSPC Button is designed for reliable performance and leakage control.
Kits are available with both 12in and 24in drainage set configurations.
