These handpieces are reportedly ergonomic and lightweight, offering comfort throughout complex procedures.

The dual trigger rotary drill features a twist mechanism that allows for quick attachment changes, promoting seamless surgical transitions.

Its collet ring can be rotated left or right, enabling the removal of one attachment and the swift connection of another.

According to the company, the sagittal saw’s open hub is intended for easy cleaning and clear visualisation, contributing to sterile processing and assuring operating room staff with secure blade placement.

Arthrex’s Synergy Power system is complemented by an extensive range of attachments, facilitating its use across various orthopaedic disciplines, including arthroplasty, sports, trauma surgery, and procedures involving distal extremities.

The 13.2V lithium ion batteries will help the Synergy Power system deliver power for peak performance.

These batteries, available in both small and large sizes, are sterilisable and cater to different surgical needs and caseloads.

Arthrex resection and fluid management senior director Michael Cottle said: “The Synergy Power system offers a comprehensive selection of attachments and blades to facilitate the system’s use across orthopaedics, including sports, arthroplasty, trauma, and distal extremities procedures.

All components of the system are assembled in the US at Arthrex Manufacturing South Carolina.

This facility plays a crucial role in supporting the assembly of a variety of finished goods, including the sagittal saw, dual trigger rotary drill, and their respective attachments. It also produces small and large batteries.
