MedTek21 and AccessDX Laboratory have announced the immediate availability of a Covid-19 testing and compliance solution within New York State impacted by Executive Order No. 202.30.
The new solution for nursing homes and adult care facilities entities will enable bi-weekly infection testing and compliance tracking for all personnel, including employees, contract staff, medical staff, operators and administrators.

This is in addition to the existing Covid-19 infection and laboratory antibody testing services for residents provided by the companies.
Enacted on 10 May, New York State Executive Order No. 202.30 requires that the operators and administrators of all nursing homes and adult care facilities must make arrangements for all personnel to be tested for Covid-19 twice a week.
Fines and penalties have been established for non-compliance with the executive order, ensuring adherence is an immediate priority for facilities across New York State.
MedTek21 and AccessDX said that their rapid-response teams will ensure facility operators have prompt and continuous access to test kits, results and reporting.

AccessDX Laboratory is operating under the emergency use authorisation (EUA) as filed with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited and certified in New York State.
MedTek21 and AccessDX launched their Covid-19 testing and support operations in March. They currently support testing initiatives at more than 600 clinical and employer groups in the country.
