When used in conjunction with the MiniMed 780G system, it is said to deliver real-time glucose data, enabling the system to automatically adjust insulin delivery every five minutes.
MiniMed 780G is Medtronic’s automated insulin delivery system, designed to decrease the frequency of high and low blood sugar events by making frequent insulin adjustments based on current glucose readings.
The addition of the Instinct sensor broadens Medtronic’s sensor options, joining the recently introduced Simplera Sync and Guardian 4 sensors.
These products are part of Medtronic’s expanding ecosystem aimed at simplifying and personalising diabetes management.
