Chinese medical equipment company Ankon Technologies Co Ltd has raised $100m through a venture financing round led by SB China Venture Capital.

Ankon plans to use the funds to expand its business into new markets.

Greece-based healthcare company Neuraxon Ltd has signed a distribution agreement with Israel-based company Smart Medical Systems Ltd.

"Neuraxon Ltd will distribute the Smart Medical Systems Ltd's G-EYE system and NaviAid products in European markets."

As part of the agreement, Neuraxon Ltd will distribute the Smart Medical Systems Ltd's G-EYE system and NaviAid products in European markets.

Imagion Biosystems has entered an agreement with StarFish Medical for the development of its MagSense instrument.

Imagion is a bio-imaging products developer based in the US, while StarFish Medical is a medical device company located in Canada.
