The VMA test is a sensitive, highly specific test which detects spinal motion and radiographic instability based on its spine motion analysis.

Spinal instability can be caused by spine vertebra slips resulting in immense pain.

VMA leverages on the standard C-arms (fluoroscopes) to provide images which require no additional manpower or imaging machines, as well as no extra software. It also integrates with picture archiving and communication system (PACS).

It detects spinal instability at a higher rate which reducing the radiation exposure of the patient.

The browser-based device involves a process which is performed within five minutes, test results can be uploaded and stored in cloud servers where they are processed to produce motion measurements that can assess instability.

The results of which along with video x-ray (fluoro) images of spine motion are made available within hours via any internet connected device.

Ortho Kinematics’ VMA test is used five million times each year in the US which is more than a combines rate of usage of CT and MR imaging.
