MEJ and TMSC proceeded with the establishment and implementation of the new training centre project, based on a basic agreement signed in October 2014 and a contract signed with Russia in January this year.

"The programme will also provide continuous medical education (CME) for Russian physicians to improve cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment techniques."

The project is one of the programmes conducted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2013 to promote and accelerate the medical globalisation.

An imaging training programme using Japanese diagnostic imaging systems will be provided at the training centre, which will be used to improve cardiac diagnostic imaging and treatment in Russia.

The programme will also provide continuous medical education (CME) for Russian physicians to improve cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment techniques.
