Used in conjunction with a standard flexible endoscope, the JET PREP device cleanses the gastrointestinal tract both prior to and during gastroenterological procedures.

The device can also be used in cases of emergency colonoscopy, gastrointestinal tract bleeding, and food impaction.

The high-powered patented spraying feature of the device improves irrigation pressure needed to breakdown obstructions caused by food impaction.

According to the company, clinicians can promptly identify sources of gastrointestinal tract bleeding through simultaneous flushing and evacuation by using the JET PREP device.

A recent study conducted by R Kiesslich et al has demonstrated that the rate of missed polyps or lesions, both in the right colon where detection has been more difficult and throughout the colon, is significantly reduced when the JET PREP Device has been used.
