US-based medical equipment manufacturer ResMed has launched a new connected care solution called Air Solutions for treatment of sleep-disordered breathing (SDB).
The ResMed Air Solutions platform includes data-driven components ranging from diagnosis to treatment, compliance management and patient engagement.

ResMed sleep-disordered breathing business unit president Don Darkin said: "With Air Solutions, we’re creating a new beginning in patient care.

The new device platform includes ApneaLink Air, a compact and lightweight home sleep testing device, and AirSense 10 Series, a new series of continuous and automatic positive airway pressure devices (CPAP and APAP).
The device also includes the AirCurve 10 series, a range of bi-level devices, and AirFit Masks that feature the AirFit P10 nasal pillows system, the AirFit F10 full-face mask and the AirFit N10 nasal mask.

By GlobalDataAdditionally, the platform includes the AirView Monitoring and Compliance Management System and myAir Patient Engagement Application and Software.
The ApneaLink Air and AirFit masks are currently available in the US and other select markets, while AirSense 10 and AirView will be available in the US and Australia from 18 August and other markets later this year.
The company develops, manufactures and distributes medical equipment for treating, diagnosing, and managing sleep-disordered breathing, COPD, and other chronic diseases.
