With its advanced wave-like design, it offers strength, porosity and stability balance.

Its large implant graft aperture for bone graft material helps form an osteoinductive environment to optimise supplemental fixation procedures.

The interbody implants feature WaveForm technology, which is a repeating and continuous wave-like structure.

It has the capacity to withstand high-compressive loads and delivers an endplate porosity that increases the potential for early stabilisation.

Orthofix Medical Global Spine president Kevin Kenny said: “Our Meridian ALIF system integrates the most advanced technologies into our surgical sets, minimising the need for multiple instrument sets during the procedure.

“The WaveForm A interbody is an exciting addition to our portfolio of solutions for ALIF procedures and enables us to provide a more streamlined option so surgeons can do more for their patients.”

The Meridian ALIF system is a modular instrument and implant system that offers diverse fixation options for single and multilevel ALIFs, helping to streamline the ALIF procedure.

It is compatible with both the WaveForm A interbody and the ReefA interbody, which come with NanoMetalenesurface technology and Reef Topography.

In April this year, Orthofix launched two access retractor systems for minimally invasive spine procedures.
