The transaction covers Robotron’s software-based intraoperative image recognition technology, single-use visualisation-enabled spinal instruments, and related intellectual property.
Originating from Robotron’s work in AI-powered visualisation, the SpineHawk platform aims to integrate with existing spinal workflows and offer direct intraoperative visualisation during crucial procedural steps.
VB Spine plans for the initial SpineHawk release to include instruments with visualisation capabilities and a high-definition camera console.
In later phases, VB Spine expects to advance the platform’s AI-driven software, such as image analysis intended to help surgeons identify anatomical structures within the surgical field.
