It will leverage OneStep’s gait and mobility analytics, collected via Android and iPhone smartphones.
These analytics will be directly integrated into Zimmer Biomet’s mymobility care management platform, designed for orthopaedic surgery patients.
The integration allows users to access daily insights throughout their joint replacement process, from pre-surgical preparation to post-operative recovery, using their smartphones alone.
The integration allows for the remote evaluation of gait and functional mobility, utilising OneStep’s technology within the mymobility app.

“By incorporating OneStep’s advanced analytics into mymobility, we can further personalise and strengthen our ability to measure what matters most — how patients move in their daily lives — while keeping data capture effortless for patients and low-burden for clinicians.”
By incorporating OneStep’s mobility intelligence, Zimmer Biomet seeks to improve its ability to measure patient function, track recovery trends, and assist clinicians in customising rehabilitation programmes based on real-world data.
The mymobility care management platform offers a range of features, including surveys, educational resources, messaging, check-ins, video-guided post-operative exercises, mobility and gait metrics, analytics, and telehealth applications.
These tools provide surgeons with automated data and insights to monitor patient recovery.
Last month, Zimmer Biomet received 510(k) clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration for its ROSA Knee with OptimiZe technology.
