AG Industries, a manufacturer of respiratory filters used in ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and CPAP / BiPAP machines, has reported a 1,500% increase in the production of its bacterial / viral filters used for the treatment of Covid-19. Due to growing demand for respiratory therapies in the wake of the pandemic, the company stated that it is positioned to play a critical role as a supplier for ventilator manufacturers, including for those listed in the US Defense Production Act.

The product is claimed to be the world’s first FDA-cleared, fully transparent surgical mask that can be used in hospitals, clinics, schools, retail, hospitality, and other settings. The mask is optimised for maximum clarity and comfort, and also adheres to ASTM Level 3 requirements for fluid resistance and flammability.
