The latest patent, titled “An Apparatus and/or Method for Positioning a Hand for Rehabilitation”, represents a major step forward in Bionik’s dedication to advancing robotic technology for rehabilitation.

The new apparatus and method offer accurate positioning and guidance for patients at the time of upper-extremity rehabilitation.

In June this year, Bionik announced the expansion of its partnership with Lifepoint Health with the deployment of InMotion ARM robotic systems at its four new locations in the US.

The robotic devices were installed at Lifepoint’s facilities located in Sacramento, California; Louisville, Kentucky; Brownsburg, Indiana and Phoenix, Arizona, for the provision of stroke recovery care.

Bionik offers neurological functional recovery solutions to stroke survivors and others with functional and mobility challenges.
