The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in the US and Revival Healthcare Capital have entered a five-year partnership aimed at advancing the clinical development of medical technologies.

The agreement outlines plans for both organisations to collaborate on the assessment and progression of next-generation medical devices, with MUSC providing clinical expertise and procedural feedback relevant to Revival’s investment focus.

The collaboration also established a scalable model to support the swift launch of project-specific initiatives.

MUSC experts may advise Revival’s portfolio companies, contributing clinical validation and insights to support various stages of product development.

The collaboration will also allow Revival to evaluate medical device development originating from MUSC, potentially facilitating additional clinical advancement through Revival’s network and resources.

The university stated that its approach is centred on converting scientific and clinical findings into applicable solutions, and that the partnership with Revival will help direct investment and operational resources to support this mission.
