MicroPort CardioFlow has commercially launched its LBBOT Solution in Europe and Australia after obtaining the required regulatory approvals.

The LBBOT Solution is a portable electrocardiogram (ECG) system intended to assist clinicians during pacing procedures through continuous 12-lead ECG monitoring and automated measurements of ventricular activation timing.

It supports clinical decision-making and aims to streamline electrophysiology workflows.

The platform features a Smart ECG device, Hookup Smart Software, and an RC115 cable, offering Bluetooth connectivity for real-time access to pacing data in diverse medical environments.

The manufacturer states that the device enables ongoing ECG display, together with real-time V6 R wave peak time (RWPT) and V6–V1 interval readings to facilitate procedure optimisation.

By delivering immediate, automated insights, the solution seeks to support procedural consistency and decision-making among clinical teams.

MicroPort CardioFlow clinical affairs vice-president Amel Amblard said: “The LBBOT Solution reflects our commitment to advancing physiological pacing procedures through smarter, data-driven technologies.

“By combining automated measurements, continuous ECG visualisation, and intuitive workflow integration, the LBBOT Solution delivers reliable real-time insights that support procedural efficiency, consistency, and physician confidence.”

MicroPort CardioFlow is also conducting the LBBOT clinical study, an acute multicentre evaluation assessing the Smart ECG system’s capacity to monitor criteria for successful left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP).

The trial enrolled 55 patients at six sites in France and Spain, and patient recruitment concluded in April 2026.

The primary aim of the study is to measure the proportion of investigators providing a favourable assessment of the system’s use in achieving LBBAP while secondary objectives focus on comparing device handling with standard electrophysiology equipment.
