The Minnesota-based company reported revenues of $2.4m in Q1 2026, indicative of a 26% year-over-year (YoY) uptick.

Upon releasing its Q1 financials, the company highlighted that the results reflected the ongoing adoption of its flagship Aquadex SmartFlow System for removing excess fluid from hospitalised patients experiencing fluid overload (hypervolemia) who have not responded adequately to medical interventions such as diuretics.

As Nuwellis’ new CEO, McCormick intends to increase the market adoption rate of Aquadex and continue the positive momentum the company reported in Q1 2026.
